Pulp Magazine

Whilst at university, I was offered the chance to art direct and design the student magazine, Pulp.

Over four issues I turned around the publication and increased our readership by introducing a cleaner, more elegant style to replace the previous busy, fanzine influenced style. As well as being picked up by BBC Radio Manchester, the redesign helped attract interviews with personalities such as Eddie Izzard and Peter Saville. Later that year, I was nominated for Best Designed Student Magazine by The Guardian's Student Media Awards that year.
